On 24th September 2019, Payal Jangid- a member of Bal Mitra Gram won the Changemaker award from Bill and Melina Gates Foundation in New York at the Goalkeepers Global Goals Award Ceremony, for ending child labour and child marriage in her village. Nobel Laureate Mr. Kailash Satyarthi congratulated Payal on this feat. Payal has served as head of Bal Panchayat in Hinsla, Rajasthan and was also a part of the Bal Mitra Gram (Child Friendly Village) program initiated by Mr. Satyarthi's organization, Bachpan Bachao Andolan.
