On 13th June 2019 Nobel Peace Laureate Mr. Kailash Satyarthi had an audience with Ex President of Ghana Mr. John Kofi Agyekum Kufuor in Accra. Both the leaders discussed about ways to catalyse action against child labour and trafficking in Western African region. They also discussed about various rights based welfare schemes for children and their communities. Both the leaders also exchanged thoughts for engaging youth as prime movers for building a child friendly society. The Laureate extended invitation to Ex President Kufuor to join the Laureates and Leaders for Children platform which the latter gladly accepted.
